This pad supports the front of the saddle against collapsing in the area behind the horse's shoulder due to muscle loss, poor saddle fit, or abnormal conformation. The strategic placement of wedges fills in the empty area and provides additional support. For example, works well for horses with very high withers or older horses with a decreasing top line. The contoured design conforms to your horse's back for extra comfort and a better saddle fit. Cut out over the withers for more space in the gullet and relief of the spine.
